    Yeah, these boilers are an absolute piece of sh@t. Ive had 2 PCB's, a fan, wiring loom, burner box door and a burner. My faults started after 18 months, its now limped to 5 yrs old. I'm aiming to replace every single part on the boiler by the time its 10...whats the bets i can :?

    i agree with the over engineered guy. this is way over the top. i would use plastic barrier pipe which has a lower freezing point than copper pipe insulated with armaflex class o exterior lagging with a 25mm wall thickness and zip tie it every foot or o to anything handy.....job done while your...

    this worked for me also, piece of string held vertically in both hands fed from r to l then pulled to left releases catch mechanism, brilliant, just got to fix broken lock now or teach my missus how to do this......hmmmm...yeah, fix lock! :wink:
