Yes, separate drivers, built in each lamp. I have disconnected and remade the connection to the 'slow' lamp, and it seems better. I felt like the live had gone too far into the push-fit terminal block. Maybe it was touching the insulation in part. I'll see how it behaves. Cheers

Yes, they are from the same mcb, as it's all wired through a pre-wired junction box. I'm assuming that all the lives in the junction box are technically the 'same' live, so would it matter if I combine 2 into 1?
