    switched light fitting in cupboard

Wow!...this google is great! It searches for stuff for you? Really? Well I never! ...uh oh....just discovered a problem on this google thingy.... It's not actually that accurate, as when I search for "unhelpful" it didn't come up with your name... Maybe I'll try alta vista instead, or...

    Help With Downstairs Lighting

Loose connection = spark = risk of fire As both of your lights are flickering, its more likely to be the light fitting rather than a faulty switch, as they will be part of the same circuit.

    switched light fitting in cupboard

Thanks for the idea. But its more of a walk in cupboard, don't think it would look too good. Really don't want to install any type of switch. Don't want any unsightly cables or wires.

    switched light fitting in cupboard

Hi all, I'm trying to find a simple wall light fitting for a hall cupboard. I thought I would be able to buy a simple switched lamp holder, similar to an angled batter holder but switched. Can't find anything. Want to spend as little as possible. Any suggestions? Cheers Craig

broken drylining mounting box on double socket

Urgh! Was replacing a double socket today and one of the tabs of the dry lining mounting box has lost its thread, so can't screw it back on. The one that works seems to have a metal thread insert, I assume its fallen through the back of the other one. Anyone have any ideas about what I can...

Replacing an Intermediate Switch - Help appreciated...

Hi all, I've run into problems replacing an intermediate switch as part of a 3 way lighting circuit. I've tried replacing but i've obviously gone wrong somewhere, and have reinstalled the old one and have confirmed it is working as it should. I have attached the pictures of the old and...
