Just checked & my boiler has a GC No 41-607-77 so the upgrade kit Part No. 5111603 will work. So at least I know that if the PCB is faulty I can get one of those ordered. Or it could be the mysterious super secret other fault that I'm not allowed to know about!!!

^^^.......... ok. I think you must be thinking its the red ignition lead. A new one was fitted when I had the PCB replaced as the original one was frayed. However, i dont think its that as wouldnt the boiler try to ignite the gas & then trip out once it failed? If your not talking about...

I'm not planning on getting a new one, I'll get for a refurbished one that has a years warranty & can be fitted like for like. This is what I did in the past & it required no modification to the boiler or wiring harness. So, does this sound like a PCB fault?

But isnt the PCB on the Suprima 50 just a straight swap? Like I said, I've replaced my board in the past like for like & it worked like a charm. No noise issues, no firing problems.

I'm pretty sure its not a single pipe (series) system. All radiators are independant & can be shut off using the Lockshields. If I do this to one of the rads the other still work fine. Plus all rads get hot at the same time; one rad doesnt get hot before the others.
