    Boiler Keeps Going Out

    You can hear noise alright - it wakes me up at 5am every day. Sounds like the pump is moving bubbles around the system. Hmm, how would air get drawn into the vent? (excuse my ignorance). It will take about 5 mins to relight - that is constantly pressing at the ignition button.

    pump is running, radiators are cold!

    We had something similar with our boiler, but in this case the pump didn't come on either. It was due to a valve that was up the duff. We had to run the bath to stop the water reaching temp making the heating go off ! Took 3 different pumbers to eventually suss it.

    Hi, I have a Glow Worm Fuel Saver MKII which tends to go out when the heating has been on for a while. It can also take quite a while to re-light it when this happens.
