Hi, After a new extension we now have a lounge floor 18mm lower than the kitchen extension so i'd like to re-floor the lounge with new Chipboard on top of the existing Chipboard to make it level. Question is, which is the preferred method of securing the boards, would it be screws, wood-glue...

New Boiler - Long flue or pump ?

Based in Yorkshire. I think I've veered from the original question slightly which was just a second opinion about a longer flue. Apologies if I've seemed to ask more Q's, I was just trying to offer additional info to people's questions, queries & observations on here. Quite confident I've got...

New Boiler - Long flue or pump ?

Currently 12 rads, having double storey extension so will end up with extra bedroom + 9mx5m dining kitchen with wet underfloor. Will end up with 12 rads & 8kw allowance for underfloor, does this sound about right if a rad =1.5kw ??

New Boiler - Long flue or pump ?

Thanks for the recommendation matey, appreciated. I've got a price for the install which had straight forward condensate pipe into next room, to use a pump instead would be £52 extra or the extended flue pipe alternative would be £120 more (just extra hardware cost)

Bit more investigation tonight, opened up the 3-port motorised valve/actuator and the motor itself was red hot to touch, is this correct ?? Or have I found the problem ?

Heating on as per timer but pump shuts off after an hour ??

Algas, did think that myself at first but i sat with a circuit tester on the feed next to the pump and it definitely powered off which stopped it, this is the only thing that's pointing me towards a 'control' issue :? Could a dodgy 3way valve cause the symptoms above ??

Heating on as per timer but pump shuts off after an hour ??

Hi guys, if somebody could offer any advice on my issue it'd be really appreciated. I've an old 'Glow-worm Fuelsaver' balanced flue boiler, with Drayton timer & stat. The timer correctly switches the heating on and radiators come on but only for around an hour then the pump goes off whilst...
