I just ripped up my carpet in my bedroom as I am planning on laying laminate. The back part of my house where the bedrooms are seems to get a bit damp, nothing major really just a faint fusty smell now and again.
I put it down to lack of air circulation as none of the windows have vents in them...
Thanks for the advice so far. I was under the impression the plot would command a higher asking price if full planning permission was already granted, is this not always the case then?
