Thanks mrrusty. It’s just an office for me to work in - never anyone visiting. My only worry is nosey neighbours complaining to the council! No changes are being made to the outside of the garage. Fortunately there’s already a window that’s at an escape proof height.

So if I go DPM, then screed, can I place timber on top of that? Obviously this starts to raise the floor level somewhat. My conservatory, a separate building about 10 years old, has a DPM and then concrete and then underlay and then laminate. Is this normal? Cheers Darren

Well,I bought the ones from Screwfix, and this fits the right hand (non thermostat) side. The thermostat one is much smaller - looks like 10 or 15mm, any idea guys?
