Building up an area prior to tiling.

    Tiling Primer issue.

Thanks everyone it eventually mostly dried, so tried adhering a small piece of backerboard using a strong sealer adhesive. It stuck really well quickly, so installed the full backerboards and secured with screws and washers.

Correct way to plumb in rads.

I'm not a plumber but changed a few of our rads for larger ones. When re- commissioning them, it's important to bleed each one in turn to remove air. Usually needs doing a couple of times. If air is trapped in the rad, it will not become as warm as it should abd will take ages to reach it.

    Tiling Primer issue.

Hi again, the shower conversion continues. I have used Evostik Flexible Primer to prime three small solid walls, and backerboard prior to tiling. Two are grey finish plaster and one normal pink skimming plaster, plus the backerboard. On the carton it states dry in one hour. 24 hours on it's...

Changing bathroom into a shower room

Not sure an under floor inspection hatch would work as the shower tray drain would be hidden behind at least one joist.
