Combi Boiler issue. Shower cycles from hot to cold.

Cheers for the response and pointing us in the right direction. As I didn't know what to search for, my searches on the forum weren't returning a solution.

Is this an ok fireboard for fireplace and then tiling over?

Sorry for bumping up an old question but I returned to the forum and was looking over old posts. Thought I'd post a picture of the final build. Just in case someone searched for a similar problem and it's always good to see the outcome. Used a promat supalux board, painted black with heat...

Combi Boiler issue. Shower cycles from hot to cold.

Hi. I was looking for a bit of advice before getting someone out to look at the boiler. Just want to get up to speed at what could be causing it. It's a combi boiler, Ferroli Optima 701. The issue is with: 1. The shower loops from hot to cold. It gets really hot, then drops to cold. 2. The...

Is this an ok fireboard for fireplace and then tiling over?

Thanks for the help Richard, you've helped clear a few issues up. And regarding the satin tiles, they were someone else's choice who has since been convinced otherwise.

Is this an ok fireboard for fireplace and then tiling over?

Thanks for the links. I've already had the flue, register plate, etc put in by a registered installer and he'll be coming back to fit the stove, once the surround is done. I was just planning on boarding and tiling the red and blue area in pic 2.

Anyone recommend a ceramic repair kit?

With the job nearly done I just needed to slot the kitchen sink into place, it slipped just a few mm, caught the edge and off it came. Gutted! Can anyone recommend a ceramic repair kit. Are they any good?

    Searching for particular wood moulding

Hi. I looking for some moulding and I don't think I know the correct name for it, so when searching online I can't find it. When I do find some, the size is a lot smaller than I need. I've been sanding down the skirting board, around the windows and doors. If you look at pic01 I decided to...

Hi, I've got a Ford Escort LX 1994 with 120,000 on the clock. Since a few days ago after the temps dropped my car hasn't started. When I now turn the key it turns over but doesn't start. I charged up the battery over night, so it went in the car full and warm but still nothing. I'm a bit of...
