If you get reported and the council come round and see that its 10cm to high do they let you alter it or do they fine you straight away?

At the moment its 10cm above the rule so definitely needs lowering. Also my neighbour has already made me aware how high it is.

Hi all. I recently had a pergola installed and the installer had to raise it to 2.6m due to my conservatory doors opening outwards. Is there anyway i can change them over to open inwards so i can lower my pergola to the required 2.5.m.?
