Outdoor cladding threshold too small to hide fixings?

Hi all, some advice needed here. I have brought some outdoor panels from British homes direct and I want my fixings to be hidden but the lip threshold is next to nothing, I have got some small screws but have a feeling it will still graze the front, what do you advise? Looking at some of the reviews it seems some people you can see their fixings and some not?
