    You may have an active trip (as opposed to passive) I think MEM rcds are. Look for a thin white wire from the RCD to the earth bar. If so it could be the meter fitter has not tightened the neutral tail in the meter causing it to heat up and break the neutra supply , an active RCD will sense this...

    Oven and hob installation

    `If you have installed a cooker outlet behind the oven just install a 13 A spur off that to feed the oven. No need to disturb the tiles then and the CCU switches both . No nasty surprises for anyone who follows :)
