Managed to 'fix' this myself in the end
Note to self:
Put boilermate temp sensor on DHW output S2, S1, S1, S1, S1
Turn hot bath tap on full
Remove DHW pump vent screw and wait for 20-30 mins for hot water to empty from store, cold water will refill tank from bottom and push air out through...
I have a Boilermate A Class OV store and recently drained down to swap a radiator, after refilling the hot water goes cold after 30 seconds but if the tap flow is reduced the temperature rises. Central heating is fine
What I’ve tried:
I have swapped the boilermate DHW pump and heat exchanger...
Due to not having the engineer code, I have factory reset my alarm panel which has defaulted the engineers code back to 1234 and user code back to 5678
However i'm unable to fully enter the engineers menu to program

Updating my kitchen and thinking of moving my condensing boiler from my kitchen up into the loft to save some space
Has anyone done this, any pitfalls of having it in the attic? (i'm aware i need fixed loft ladder, rails, loftboards and lighting for access)

The other door was existing from build so wanted to match it, however the window was more recessed for some reason
Plan on thinking of:
I still have a 1cm gap along the top of the new doors, I can easily put a damp proof membrane in and stick it to the exposed underside...
I’m not sure on the lintel style, it’s a 2006 persimmon house if that helps?

I have noticed the steel above the door is slightly damp on the inside, there is an inch gap which I need to plaster so am concerned it will cause damp through the plaster
Was thinking of covering the steel with silicon or sticking some damp proof...

It's 10mm plastic, are pushfit blanking ends the best way to blank off and should I use pipe inserts prior to fitting the blank cap or would a compression...
thanks for the info, i'm awaiting a callback from the director of the alarm company
I have paperwork at home for the installation from the previous owner so i will go through the small print this evening
Providing they havent used an engineer code starting with a 9, it may just be easier to...
I notified BC and paid their fee a couple of weeks ago, they need calculations for the RSJ however it doesnt need to be from a SE - they just need calculations which they informed me could be from the RSJ supplier so based on that i could use the online form but will see if they RSJ suppliers...
I know this is an old post but i'm in the same situation, new house and the alarm company want to charge me £140 for the engineers code (n)
Apparently they use the same engineers code on all of their systems so cant send it out and would have to send an engineer out to reset the panel
I dont...
