    Plastering question

    to be honest my opinion would be for the time its taken you to do it or to fill or to pva and re skin would have prob just got a plasterer in to do it... would have been finished now dried and painted, but only my opinion!

    400 blocks a day, 15 pound a metre... ill come and do it! haha, think 400 is a bit much unless a very long run with no corners, scaffolding or loading up... even with a carrier on your own itd be hard work!

    yeah you can maybe break the step out if you really want. another good way is when you dig and concrete the foundations in the concrete put some small lenghts of reinforcing bar sticking out and build the pillars round the bars and when filled in the middle itll strenghten it all...

    yeah def think its the lead flashing, done a few cavity tray jobs and always seems to solve the problem, just have to be careful when removing the brick not to break them, so not have odd bricks in the back of your house. or could just need a few weep vents putting in to divert the water from...

    Sticking concrete board onto brick

    you can always mix the pva with water and add a bit of sand to it, just gives it that bit extra to bond to! you can buy special stuff but its about 50 quid a tub! so sand is alway good, not a plasterer but worked with a few.
