    maximum stud work?

I was thinking i could build a stud wall at same height as the timber frame panels (2.4m) which would sit under the bottom brace of the truss. I was then going to build another stud wall on top of that which would be fixed to a kind of ridge beam between each truss? rough diagram below?????

Timber framed building - treated or untreated?

Thanks for the advice. The shower bays will be pvc hygenic cladding, so they should be pretty watert tight. I'm not worried about the increase in price of treated timber, because the increase is small. The thing that concerns me is the inside, toilet areas and sinks will be plasterboarded...

Timber framed building - treated or untreated?

Hi, I'm about to start building a timber frame toilet/shower block on my campsite. All the groundworks have been completed and the base is 200mm above ground level. The inside of the building will be well ventilated, but I'm unsure whether to use treated or untreated 2 by 4 inch timber. If...

Concrete Base with footings advice needed

I'm preparing ground for concrete slab. I've now dug my slab area (10m x 6m), and 225mm deep footings around the perimeter and up the centre as recommended by structural engineer (where timber frame panels will be). I've started to lay my sub-base (803), next will be a layer of sand...
