    yes i have used one paul and it did a good job. you dont need to applya lot of pressure when using it. i had some paint on some face brickwork and i used a needle gun very gently to remove it as paint had soaked into thr brickwork

    Just soapy water should do it, I use one of those floor mops with a round sponge on the end, they soak up water and hold on to it.does a good job on my floors, most diy shops stock them :P

    in the past i have used one of those long handled wall paper scrapers with renewable blades. you can get a good grip with this tool but dont try and take to much off at once. wear gloves, safety glasses as well 8)

    Mike, if your going to make a proper job take the little bleeders up I bet you got one of those tile spacers under one corner or if it is the floor scrape it clean, have a dummy run with loose tile and find the offender, take some of the screed out, clean out and relay, Job done :lol:

    I dont think so franco if its not damp top and bottom the tiles are soaked and the adhesive is loose. Can you post a pic for us all to have a look at. Whats behind the wall is it another room? could there be pipes from that room?

    Chipboard

    If the leak has not been fixed this problem will get worse and if the leak has been fixed the chipboard carcass will dry out but the uneveness of the carcass you describe is permanant because the water sitting on the shelf has soaked into the chipboard and swelled the particals causing it to crack.
