Hi Richard, What did you do in the end? I've now got the same problem - the angle of the white v shaped bracket is totally the wrong angle which is made even worse when the wc screws are fitted. I'm thinking block of wood instead!

Just though it would be nice for those that have been following this saga to have an update on the new boiler plumbing. I was planning to simply switch the two returns to the boiler and see what happened. Luckily for me DIA popped over to have a look and it didn’t take much convincing from him...

I'm 99% sure the diagram is right. I take it having a feed on the positive pressure side will have a tendency to push water back into the head tank? Mark

I think you're right, however, there is one major problem with that - the kitchen. The kitchen has a new T&G oak floor and is smack bang inbetween the utility room (which has a flat roof) and the airing cupboard. Access, to say the least, would be problematic :cry: Mark
