not really, from my understanding, the circuit is protected by a 32a mcb so will never pull 50amps anyway.

you have to take into consideration wheather its primary or secondary heat..big price difference. its a pain in the rear if the probes go down too, can be a nighmare to rectify.

deffo sounds like live to earth fault on the 3core which connects between the 2 switch's.

theres a problem within the strapers....i.e, the 3core between the 2 switch's by the sounds of things. whats tripping, the whole house or just the lighting mcb?

indeed, steeple is denmans own, distributed by electrium, made by crabtree. the recall was on a certain batch of 6a, 10a and 16a mcbs. they paid contractors £70 per mcb to change them as part of the recall.
