dont trust the colours mean anything specifically - blue can mean switched live as well as neutral - depending on how the electricaian decided to wire i dont understand the drawing - as you are showing just 3 wires for the house wire ?

when i used a dewalt - no speed swtiches but speed via the on finger pull button , i start of very slow and make sure its not going to slip and mark the tiles
