    Thanks, i have CT1 as i prefer to use that for most things , and also have 2 part wood filler Ronseal i think so i have those already available - so thanks, I know CT1 is also an adhesive, put was not sure if it would hold against the wall - so good to know it may thanks again

    you may want to consider adding an isolating switch - so if it does get water in or other problems, and you have RCD protection you dont lose the whole circuit but can switch that outside socket off at the Live & Neutral by using a double pole isolator switch

    My experianace when used an emergency cover on 2 occasions (both for an elderly lady) 1st they would not make it for 8-12 hours - during a water leak, we got a local plumber out within an hour and sent the bill - they agreed to pay for it before hand ..... when i was making a lot of complaints...
