    Paint over plaster patch - how to blend?

    I have added some wall sockets and added plaster & filler to the surrounding areas to make good. A few days later sanded down and painted with a couple of coats of trade emulsion, however I'm getting a 'lip' around the patch area which makes the patch stand out. I've sanded the area down again...

    Replacing T&E cable that feeds an outside light

    T&E isnt really suitable for outside use to the UV rays which can deteriorate the outer sheath. For outside lighting i always use rubber cable Just wondering why your using 2.5mm for a lighting circuit - have you run the light off a socket circuit...
