Hi all, I currently have 100mm attic insulation and would like to top it to 300mm in total. Problem is electrical cables are running on the existing insulation with very little slack.can the insulation be laid over the wiring without a fire risk. Thanks

Yeah its complex - everything controlled by WIFI switches which in turn control zones & boiler/switch on/off. But it works well... ;). I didnt want the boiler to be firing up just to be on standby, when its needed its on,otherwise its off

Do you have access to the pump? There is a screw that can be opened like below - very slowly let the air out.

Sorry for the late reply - i think i have figured it out for my setup - since my boiler and pump are controlled separately,i am using smartthings to only turn on the boiler if a zone calls for it, and the pump will also turn on based on that zone call for heat. thanks for all the comments -...

Hi, Is it wise to leave the boiler on throughout the day, and when a thermostat calls for heat, then the circulating pump switches on and off accordingly. Pros and cons of doing this??I'm guessing it will use more energy but would like to know people opinion on this... thanks
