can anyone tell me if it is possible to gas rate an appliance with this particular meter. if the A button is pressed to select the display to units consumed in cubic meters the reading will not update in real time,making it impossible to do a rating.

as a landlord i would advise that the gas fire is removed.one less headache for you and your tenants..

i think that the minimum burner pressure setting on the gas valve needs resetting.common fault on these boilers. as we all know do not attempt to do this yourself.

check pump is turning for circulation.is there an air lock in the heat exchanger. does the flame modulate before overheat if not dhw sensor at fault check the resistance

yes it was the wiring and thermistor not pcb. problem is thermistor does two functions water flow and temp reg. agile why register for the chamber when most of the replies are off topic and of no use.

the heat exchanger can be removed and cleaned.the main problem is removing the sludge from the pipework and radiators which will clog the heat exchanger up again. you would have to powerflush the system not cheap.

thanks for the help. I i did not relpace the spring valve just cleaned and greased it so it was running freely.the water was clear and no sign of sludge. The fault seems to appear if it has been left standing for some time. could be the valve is sticking intermittently or the actuator is.
