tony if you put the name of the district council planning in google, go to view or comment in the planning applications website ,it take you to the simple search section put the address in it will show any applications as far back as it goes .
most likely to be neighbours stoptap where plumber turned off water , stoptap could have a loose washer/jumper , if its only just cracked open the jumper will bang against the seating , go round and turn it fully on and noise should stop
The noise is caused by the water coming out of the four holes in the end cap
ok thought you where talking of a sgeal when shutting off , properly be able to seal it, bit of a weak spot had them do it when new .
theres a little flap that acts as a guide, its slipped out of place , if you prize end cap off you can put it back , should be trapped in place with cap. it will not stop the noise though. pm add ill send a new one
seem to to think these anti seize come on every once every 24hr, and can be set to come on at a more reasonable time say 4pm or what ever, by turning power to boiler off then back on at isolation switch at 4pm or what ever and it will come on every 24hr from then .cheers
