Got called out to a Stoves double gas oven that wouldn't light on christmas eve. Turned out to be a snapped ignition lead. I replaced the terminal and reconnected it to the electrode and the oven now lights. Only thing is, once the burner has ignited, the ignition electrode keeps sparking...

Right then, this thing is dripping from where teh plastic filling link goes into the diverter valve. I have replaced the o-ring twice and have just replaced the filling link (with a new 0-ring) and always the same story...dry as a bone for 2 days then it starts to drip again. I am at my wit's...

If it was installed by a CORGI installer who was qualified for fires, then he should have checked the gas pressure when he commisioned it and it should be fine. Pressure drop during peak times can happen. I don't touch flueless fires with a barge-pole though. :?

Hi all, I need to price some spares for one of these fires and would like to know if anyone can recommend a decent shop in the leatherhead area that sells fire spares. I have looked on the net but most don't deal in spares. Thanks.

If you don't mind too much, why whinge about it ffs ? organise your week more efficiently and do you quotes in the evening/at the end of the day. You choose to do them at the weekend. If I want to work the weekend, I will, if I don't, I just tell my customers that I don't work weekends...

I am after two interior solid wood doors measuring 1940mm x 760mm. B&Q, Wickes, Homebase ets only sell 1981mm x 760mm. Is it possible to get the size I require? Does anybody know where I could get such a thing around the Leatherhead area ? Thank you.
