Quick update engineer came had a look at it and fitted a new fan £240 Just my luck it was 6 weeks over guarantee. Works perfect now.

Forgot to say heating and water goes off and a slight knocking can be heard. I turn it off at fusebox and after a couple of hours turn it back on and it works for a few hours .

Got fan fault appearing on logic+ combi 30 contact installer. He cannot come until weekend and says probably need a new fan , looked online for price between £160 and £300 the boiler is 7 years old . Is this likely to be replaced and if so anyone got a ball park figure for replacing fan . cheers

Cheers terryplumb the needle was stiff moved it up and down and now radiator is back working , should i give it a spray with wd40 or something similar to keep it lubricated.

just come back off hols for a week, turned heating on everything ok except for one radiator downstairs which is clock cold all other radiators are hot , thought it might need bleeding but water come straight out , any ideas ?

i have a small cement mixer but went on concrete calculator and it says 7 bags cement 12 sharp sand 24 aggregate .thought it would be easier ready mixed dependant on price.

was thinking of mixing my own cement, but seems alot of hard work, any idea how much ready mixed is i need approx 0.5 m3

I have a 5m x4m drive but want to extend it 500mm on to the grass side , was thinking is it best to dig down 200 mm put 100mm of hardcore down then 100mm concrete ..was going to shutter it on the side with battens does this sound ok ?

yes sorry getting mixed up with manual and auto. i meant to say on auto nothing at all happens or lights up . on manual the light flickers and makes a clicking noise sometimes it fires up for 10 seconds or so then goes off.
