Hi guys, I can get the air out by connecting washing hose pipe to hot pipe and run cold water though the hot pipe

Live it a dormer bunglow, Cold water tank in roof, hot water cylinder on first floor...

just had a re-measure area is 147cm x 136 cm

I could have it on longer, but due to the weight of the water on the input side of the hot water cylinder, I think the cold water will find the overflow on the hot water output side easiest route
its between 3-4 foot above the top of the hot water cylinder
it used to work ok, before I re-routed the pipes to the down stairs bathroom, the height of the pipe did not change I just moved the pipes so they all run next to each other
yes wen I say immersion I mean the copper cylinder
I can undo the nut on the hot water out put side (top of cylinder) but the copper pipe end that goes into the cylinder is stuck fast, I've used wd40, hit it, just will not move
worried that I could bend the cylinder or bend the copper pipe if...

I live in a dormer bungalow
about a year ago I re-routed the hot water pipes, which are below the bottom of the hot water cylinder, at the same time I replaced the stop cock feed from the cistern...
