hi all, about 50yrs ago 2 rooms and a hall way were knocked into one big room, its left a slope running along the new room, as we are having a new carpet i want to smooth out this slope, (not level the whole floor) the slope is about 30cm wide 4 mts long about 5mm deep at the worst point,
can this be done using floor leveling compound ( as the floor will still have a slope)
if not leveling compound what else could i do ? remember i'm an old old man now, so my brain doesn't work things out or understand stuff quickly now
thanks
