Hi all,

My lounge has a concrete subfloor and I'm looking to lay laminate over it.

The lounge has a small extension on it and where the original floor leads into the extension it slopes downwards by around 5mm + or -).

I'd like to confirm that the best option is some self levelling compound rather than just trying my luck and hoping that the floor + underlay will be able to take a 5mm slope.

Thanks all

And you want feather edge SLC with those sort of tolerances.
