Reversing a door on a Beko DPHR8PB561W 8Kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer?

Sorted it ! I was right, to apply sufficient force I had to use 'mechanical assistance', tiny cosmetic damage but not visible once re-installed.

Reversing a door on a Beko DPHR8PB561W 8Kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer?

Hi, Has anyone had the misfortune to try the above? I've sought further clarification from Beko, who sent a slightly less useless anotated sheet and now refuse to provide any further guidance. The door is not easily seperated but they must know how to do it and exactly whats needed ? Any...

    Removing Osmo ?

Hello All, Our local village hall is clad in cedar wood and treated with Osmo. It appears not to have been done properly and is a mess. We started to sand it off but as it's patchy (some comes off easy, the rest has actually soaked in/bonded) we're wondering if this is the right way...

Small black plug that says 'Don't Remove!'

By finger or voltmeter but I hadn't looked too closely at that voltage so yup I guess it's probably not guilty. Will get Spark on to it.

Small black plug that says 'Don't Remove!'

Ok, I'm not going to worry then if it goes off - seeing as how there's plenty of the damp from the walls until I get some re-pointing done and maybe dig out all the portland cement and replace with lime. I wonder if that system could be responsible for the mild current we pick up on the door...

Sorry All, It's a really cramped space and I have to be carefull with my back at the moment. Please see pictures below...my Addy only says Clwyd 'cos that's the only option it offered me! From Wrecsam originally but now in the wilds of Fflint. Thanks to all for the replies...even the one s about...

Small black plug that says 'Don't Remove!'

Hi, I was having problems with the ground floor sockets tripping yesterday. I eventually traced the fault to a socket right at the back of the understairs where the above (transformer ?)was plugged in. It appears to be connected into some form of Earthing and I'm therefore sure it's...

    Repair or just point up?

Thanks Vinn, I look at that. I will post some more photos but just getting too much grief from work at the moment. There's no render yet but because the house is a mix of brick and stone now the ivy's down it looks a bit messy. As it's an old house I want to allow it to 'breathe' so was planning...

    Repair or just point up?

Thanks Himaginn, I was planning on something soft (have a rubber camping mallet) but will have to break some render as it looks like they've patched and then left it...some strange holes in brick too. There are also some blown bricks, would I be best to remove these or if I have to render anyway...

    Repair or just point up?

Ok, I was wondering if they'd just 'tap' back. The leaks from the guttering but was difficult to access whilst the ivy was up. I'd already fixed another one further along that has now 'dried up' nicely.

    Repair or just point up?

Greetings All, I'm just continuing with some work to reduce water ingress into the old house we bought last year. I've just taken down all the really old, thick & woodworm infested ivy and have uncovered a section of protruding brick work (1/4-1/2 inch) above a window. I did...

    Replacing MR11 (halogen) with MR16 LED's?

Greetings All, Just after moving in to our new home i started replacing the old lights with LED's unfortunately I bought MR16's instead of 11's but they will fit into the wiring (if not the fittings exactly). I tried one or two at first but have now plugged them all in and...

    Satisfactory Roofing Work ?

Well I got 3 quotes from a referral agency and everything seemed to check out ok. I wouldn't pay up straight away but we had a bad leak which they came out and sorted. They did give a five year guarantee. I was prepared for a new roof but was told it would last another couple of years by which...
