Hello All, Our local village hall is clad in cedar wood and treated with Osmo. It appears not to have been done properly and is a mess. We started to sand it off but as it's patchy (some comes off easy, the rest has actually soaked in/bonded) we're wondering if this is the right way...

Thanks Himaginn, I was planning on something soft (have a rubber camping mallet) but will have to break some render as it looks like they've patched and then left it...some strange holes in brick too. There are also some blown bricks, would I be best to remove these or if I have to render anyway...
