    Riello Burner Nozzle Replacement

Bob, when you say I may have sucked water through do you mean the liquid from the bleed screw may be a mixture of water and Kerosene? It certainly smells like Kerosene. The kerosene that comes out of the bleed screw is warm as the boiler tries to ignite. Do you recommend I keep bleeding for a...

    Riello Burner Nozzle Replacement

Unfortunately during the recent cold snap, I ran out of oil. Refilled the tank and bled the oil through the hexagonal bleed screw and all ran well. Horrible Kerosine Smell

Thanks for the replies gents. I have turned the heating/water off overnight and there is no smell in the morning. It only seems to be when the burner is running. That is why I am assuming that I have flooded the burner by continually pressing the igniter switch then a continuous rip from the...

    Horrible Kerosine Smell

Recently moved to a house with oil heating system. Everything operated fine. I disconnected the oil supply to move the tank to do some construction work. (well the builder did) When the supply was reconnected, my boiler would not fire up. I have a Rellio RDB burner. I pressed the red 'ignite'...
