Thanks - This is something I will ask my plumber.
If the hot and cold are the wrong way round could I ask how this would affect the temperature not being able to mix?
Thanks PlumbGas
I was told when I bought it that it was suitable for a combi-boiler - Here are the specifications of the valve:
Concealed Shower Valve
3/4 inch inlets
Dual controlled thermostatic valve
Cube Handles
Built in anti-scald
Chrome finish
Suitable for water pressures...
Can someone help me?
I have just had the following plumbed and fitted:
However there doesn't seem to be any cold water coming through at all just luke warm and very hot. Also the water feed coming through the shower head is just trickling and isn't very powerful. I have a...
Thanks
Correct - When I start to screw the shower arm in it gets about 0.5 to 0.75 of being tightly fitted but is still loose - This is why I thought if there was some sort of adapter that could screw into the wall plate connection it would give me the perfect and flush fit for the shower...
Thanks Fred
I have already installed and fixed this wall plate into my false wall. The water pipe is also connected to it. This is why I'm wondering whether there is a connection that I could screw into it to give it further length??
Thanks Fred - Unfortunately that would mean a lot of messing with the falsewall we have.
This is why I was wondering whether there was another "male" or "female" connector that I could screw into the wall plate to extend it slightly??
Hello There - I hope someone can help
I have had a false wall fitted to conceal my new shower valve and shower head. I have fitted a wall plate that the shower head will connect to but the depth isn't going to be right for the shower arm to fully fit once on top of the tiles. Can anyone...

It's more to do with when I have the correct tradesmen to do the right work and not being without my bathroom for a number of weeks - I also don't want a bodged job so I'm just taking advice at the moment as to how I can plan things properly and what jobs I can get away with doing...
Many thanks for this - We are obviosuly going to have to fit the false stud wall before tiling - Is it not possible to "loosely" fit the new bath then tile around this or would you always recommend tiling behind hit?
Hi
At what point should you tile your bathroom when fitting a new suite?
It is a total rip out of old suite, fitting of a new suite including fake stud wall for concealed shower and shower valve.
I want to tile from floor to ceiling.
Any advice would be most appreciated.
Thanks Richard
I'm not too sure about the weight of the tiles as I will be purchasing these on Saturday - I have taken on board what you have said about the weight though.
It's not so much the damage as more the uneveness of the walls - As you go up the wall to where the old tiles finish...
Hi
I'm having a new bathroom suite fitted at the moment and wanted some guidance about my exsisting walls. The bottom half of the four walls were tiled and the top half just painted. I have no idea what was used to fix the old tiles but when I have taken them off this has left the walls very...
Thanks for your quick response.
The reason I wanted to plaster is because the walls are very uneaven due to the bottom half all the walls being previously tiled and the top half just being painted. Would it be straight forward to just panel the whole room in the aquaboard?
