hi. there is power getting to my immersion heater but i`m not getting any hot water. do you think the element may have gone and if so is it an easy job to replace.

:?: Need a little advice please. What would you use to seal pipe connections ? Do you use PTFE tape or liquid pipe sealant. In the past I have used the tape but always seem to end up with a small leak and end up having to re-seal the joints. Just wondered if the liquid sealant would make...

:D Thanks for taking time to answer my problem. Hopefully the situation has been resolved. Apparently, when I relit the pilot light the button that delivers the gas was not fully retracted so no gas was being passed to the main burner. Anyway, everything seems to be working fine now, fingers...

:( Can anyone help? Ihave a Baxi WM38/3RS boiler. The pilot light is lit but the boiler wont fire up when I switch the heating on. Any ideas would be appreciated.
