    No programmer

    Two of the stats can be programmed (siemens) but this only seems to control the room temperatures upstairs (not hot water). The third stat is one of the old honeywell dials which controls all of downstairs. In answer to the other post I did not fit the accumulator myself a plumber did it.

    Neighbour has a noisy flue

    I have just found this great site and had three questions. One on my own heating system, one on the neighbours flue and one on a rental property. Does anyone have a serious answer? Does anyone make an acoustic hood for a flue or similar?

    Neighbour has a noisy flue

    My neighbour has had a new boiler fitted and the fan assisted flue is really noisy. Does anyone have any suggestions how it may be made quieter? Thanks

    No hotwater upstairs but plenty downstairs

    In a two bed victorian house I have a combi boiler downstairs. The occupier complained of lack of water pressure so I fitted an accumulator. The occupier now says that the hotwater pressure is great but the hot water runs out upstairs after a few minutes whereas it is still available downstairs...

    I have just moved into a house and we have two connected regular boilers, three room stats and TRVs but no programmer. Presumably the central heating is keeping the house to the desired temperature all the time and also the pressurised hotwater cylinder is being kept hot all the time. Would is...
