New kitchen worktop needs a join in centre of breakfast bar

New kitchen worktop needs a join in centre of breakfast bar

There are lots of laminate suppliers, unfortunately it would appear that the maximum width available is 900mm which is not very helpful when I need 1200mm x 1600mm approx

    Removing internal wall

A bit of added information for the experts out there, the joists are approximately 50mm x 178mm (2" x 7") and are spaced approx 410mm (16") apart. If we were to take away the wall in question, the span between joists would be approx 4500mm (15 ft), so I am guessing that a steel is probably...

    Removing internal wall

I am removing an internal brick built wall, approximately 2.3 meters. I have figured out that a steel is most likely required and am getting an SE to calculate the requirement. I was just wondering if it was possible to get a steel to run flush into the ceiling even though there are floor...

    removing honeywell CM907 for decorating

I have read a post on how to remove this room stat for decorating, I have tried unhinging upwards and also tried to locate two tabs above the battery compartment which allow the hinge mechanism to release, but unless I am being really dim, I still cannot get the thing to budge (can't see any...
