Thanks Muggles.
Luckily I have a family member that is a RGI. Will need to persuade him to come over for a few beers (after doing a bit of work) ;)

Hi,
I have a kitchen sink, WM etc running into a 50mm waste pipe in the void under the ground floor to a gulley outside.
As part of renovation, I would like to move the routing of the condensate pipe for the boiler.
My question is, can I run the condensate pipe for the boiler into the...
Thanks for the reply. No. The waste pipe will exit the wall then drop a foot into the gully.
Deck will cover that but my question is it is OK to have waste pipe under a doorway its more a regs question than a practical problem.
Hi,
I am moving my kitchen in order to have installed bifold doors to the back of the house.
Currently a drain gulley for kitchen waste is under the window which is to be changed to a door. It is not easily possible to feed the waste anywhere else.

A kind builder gave/sent me a dome they had spare and it was exactly the same type.
I was not able to find anywhere to buy a replacement.
Sorry, hope you have some luck finding one.

Coaxial splitter OK. Yeap, I connected PVR to TV via SCART.

Looking at the bit error rate, I get a number of errors on HD channels but nothing the FEC cannot sort out (so perfect picture)
Dont buy a cheap plastic splitter. Get a higher quality (metal...

What I dont want is to add a couple of radiators now and...
Hi,
I have an query regarding central heating replacement in stages. I have an old central heating system and am looking to replace next summer. However, I would like to add a radiator or two now to prepare for winter (previous french doors and wall knocked through means less radiators than...
Thanks for the replies.
The "crown" is not part of the fan. The fan has a metal bracket (which normally would mount with screws into a joist). The problem is it is fastened to this crown and therefore has cracked it.
I will search further on the internet for a suitable replacement.
Hi,
My 20yr old conservatory has a ceiling fan. It has been previously mounted by screwing it to the uPVC ceiling dome covering centre of the roof (by the previous owners of the house). The dome has cracked, due to vibrations and weight of the ceiling fan.
I have an alternative method of...
