hi, i think the hot is gravity fed as the pipe that comes out of the cylinder is coneected to the pump but thats for the central heating i think... in what way will i have to be more careful..?? is it to stop air locks etc..??

yeah i dont mind doing the plumbing and my local plumbing merchants did say they could get one ready made at a cost or take one of the shelf thats more or less the same size, so decided to take one off the shelf, it just seems that on my old one the top part is the same as the new one but all...

just noticed that my cylinder is leaking slightly so i think i'll have a go at replacing it with one of the new types, the problem is is that all the connections seem to be in different places, so to look at it from the front you have a vent/hot water pipe on the top next to that is an immersion...

has any one ever fitted one of those american styl fridges with the water dispencer on the front, im looking at buying one and wondered how hard it would be to plumb in as it would be on the other side of the room opposite the sink..?

thanks for the replies, what it is is that i,ve just moved in to the house and its had a single storey extension to the rear with a flat roof, its cold in the as there is no rad, the nearest point to be able to t off the feed would be a rear bed room rad which means that it would have to drop...
