Essentially you tee in to the existing flow and return pipes at a convenient location and run 15mm pipes to where you want to site the new radiator. This has to be sized to suit room size. Plumbing is fairly straightforward although you will have to drain down and refill existing system.
Deciding how you run the pipes is the problem; exposed along the wall, chased and buried into wall or floor? It all depends on the trouble/cost you are prepared to go to and the what appearance you are prepared to put up with.
thanks for the replies,
what it is is that i,ve just moved in to the house and its had a single storey extension to the rear with a flat roof, its cold in the as there is no rad, the nearest point to be able to t off the feed would be a rear bed room rad which means that it would have to drop through the ceiling into the kitchen then directly through the outside wall into the extension then down the wall to where i need it, what would be the easiest route and best pipe to use considering that they'd be a lot of bends in it, it also means i'll have to have trunking on both sides of the wall too.. any help much appreciated
