    End part of gutter.

Thanks for your help, what might be tricky is that what is still in place is only around 4 cm max from wall of house (top of bay window) Edit...should also make clear that this photo is not it repaired as the end section can't be affixed at the moment.

    End part of gutter.

Had a look around and definitely no robber gaskets or cut pieces that have dropped. It might have been a bodge job I suppose. Can I fix this easily with a couple of bits from Screwfix? If so, any advice on what I would need would be very much appreciated. Thanks so much to everyone that...

    End part of gutter.

Thanks everyone. I'll have a look around in the morning to see if I can find anything on the ground. What would the cutting look like? Would it be pretty easy/obvious to fit? Thanks

    End part of gutter.

I accidentally knocked the end part off with a ladder but now can't see any way to attach/click it back into place as the clip part just butts up to the plastic clip already on the length that is still attached to the fascia. I can't work out if the clip parts were originally attached by being...

    Installing Honeywell ST6400C 7day programmer

Hello, I have an old but unused ST6400c that I would like to use to replace my old Honeywell which is faulty. I'm not an electrician or experienced at all with wiring but is this a relatively straightforward job and if so can you please give me any pointers? Thanks HH

Electric shower cutting out - Salamander CT50 Twin (2014)

Thanks - If it is on the outlet, should it be moved to the inlet? Might it make a difference at this stage? I've not had an issue in the six years that I have lived in my current home.

Electric shower cutting out - Salamander CT50 Twin (2014)

Thanks again for your help. I have been able to turn valves to cut off water supply and disconnect the inlet hoses from the cold water tank and the hot water cylinder, but only the cold water hose had a filter - is this normal? There was a little debris on the single filter that I found which I...

Thanks, followed the advice for air in the system but still no joy unfortunately

Electric shower cutting out - Salamander CT50 Twin (2014)

It's definitely thermostatic then. Thanks for helping me understand the difference. Have you any experience with this issue and what level of expertise would be required to resolve? As mentioned, running the tap with the power off helped temporarily but it is worse today. Is there anything...

Electric shower cutting out - Salamander CT50 Twin (2014)

Thanks for your reply, I'm not completely sure what the difference is. As it is connected to the cylinder in the airing cupboard would this suggest it is thermostatic?

Electric shower cutting out - Salamander CT50 Twin (2014)

Thanks for your help. I'm not tech savvy (to my shame) & I'm assuming the electrical connections are more than just the plugs that go into the wall. Would this be straightforward with the power turned off? When you say isolate the water, do you mean turn it off at the cylinder and the mains...

Electric shower cutting out - Salamander CT50 Twin (2014)

Hi, I hope this is the right place to post this, but yesterday our shower developed a fault and the power would not kick in. I switched it off at the power and ran the water for a bit which seemed to resolve it but we had the same problem today but worse. I managed to get it started again but...

Problem with running water in toilet.. (Grohe model?)

Sorry for my late reply. Have been working away. Bought the Flush valve as advised and replaced the old one. Looks as though the problem was caused by small air bubbles on the rubber seal near the bottom of the valve. Anway, just wanted to thank you all...you taught me a lot and saved me a...

Problem with running water in toilet.. (Grohe model?)

Thanks to both of you for all of your help so far. If the float valve is the white plastic lever in the top left of the cistern, the water level does rise when I push this down... (?) Any further help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again Chris
