Metal or plastic shed? And how to line the walls?

Good to know! Yes, pretty sure they have some large one too...but I think they're generally something that's on the "hard to get during covid" list. I've also been waiting about a month for a smaller Keter box to come back into stock anywhere.

Perfect, thanks for the tips everyone. A wooden one sounds like the way to go then! Cheers

Metal or plastic shed? And how to line the walls?

Hi all, I'm looking to get myself a new garden shed, i'm aiming for 8ft x 10ft. I'm not too sure if I should go for a mental one or a plastic one? Has anybody got advice on one over the other? I'm planning on putting a workbench in it, run power out to it, etc. I'll be keeping power tools...

    Leveling decking over old slabs

I'm planning on decking over an old slabbed patio and could do with a bit of advice. The slabs are 900x600x50 (about 50 of them), I don't have an easy way to get rid of them and i figured they make a pretty solid base for the deck, so i decided to deck on top. The slabs weren't installed...

    Odd sized doors

Hi mate, laminate floor in all rooms but 2, carpet in those. Good point. I'll concentrate on the frames themselves, not the old doors.

    Odd sized doors

Hi all, I'm planning on replacing the old doors in my house. After measuring them I see I have a few different sizes. The existing doors are original, they've been panelled with ply at some point and have about 40 years worth of gloss on them. I'm also sure my door frames won't be square (if...

Danfoss valve isolation with no TVR

Hi all, I want to remove an old radiator (replacing with a new one), it has Danfoss valve but I no longer have the TRV, it is in the off position but a bit of water still flows from the system. I cracked the nut to drain the radiator but stopped when i could feel the water was hot. Lockshield...

Copper push fit connectors on plastic barrier pipe?

Cheers all! Turned out i did have enough depth for the plastic pushfit connector, so i just went with that. Yea - I could see that you can insert into the plastic ones a lot deeper than copper so it would have probably been the better option.

Copper push fit connectors on plastic barrier pipe?

Hi folks, I'm currently moving a couple of radiators that are on copper pipe. I'm using Speedfit BPEX barrier pipe for the new runs. Due to there being little space where i'm going to join the pipes I was going to use copper push fit connectors, but i just considered that maybe i can't do...

Leveling out a bumpy uneven garden

Hi all, I'm looking for a bit of advice on my back garden, i'm not particularly green fingered... My back garden, at at one point, would have had a nice "S" shaped path going through it, some flower beds, raised bits, etc etc. By the time I moved in to the house, the garden had been over...

Bathroom mirror light issue with extractor fan

Hi guys... Hopefully someone can help me figure this out. I've just refitted my bathroom and as part of it I wired the extractor fan and shaving socket to the lights. No problem. I also fitted a mirror with 2 LED down lights, and for ease of installation i connected them with choc block to...
