Just an update really we finally managed to get the new tray in place
Bought a 95mm Tray from BnQ old tray was 55mm so didn't need to worry about the recess - We used put 6mm Hardibacker Board in the end on top of the floor boards as I am going to tile the floor so seated the tray to that...

Ok so my old shower enclosure and tray are out.
The old tray was 760mm x 760mm x 55mm and was recessed into the plaster board wall and then tiled down to it.
A few questions.
1. Do I have to tile down to and recess the shower tray or can I leave the tiles on the wall and...
Our house is like the house that jack build corners cut every where - I am now trying to remove the old shower tray but not getting very far pictures below (They are upside down not sure why)
It seems to be cemented to the floor!
Any ideas

Thanks - Guys I ended up replace all the waste pipe from the shower as it was fitted with 32mm - So put in 40mm and fitting NRV with access from under the bath

So basically my shower and bath are connected to the soil stack via the same piece of 40mm pipe, I know this isn't the way to do it but we didn't install it and the soil stack is hard to get to (that's another story).
Anyway when we empty the bath the dirty water appears...
Just to says thank you as TeaTime suggested I attached the trap to the bath first then ran a new piece of 40mm to the grey pipe - 2 weeks and no leak.
So job done I reckon..
This is what I have on the bath at the moment - when I notice the bath was leak this is what I replaced first along with a new Shallow Trap.
The Arrow in the picture indicates the nut that isn't fitting properly \ won't lock \ is leaking
But I am sure it the waste pipe pulling it to the...
