Cost of Limecrete floor slab v 'standard' concrete slab

I've not long finished my limecrete floor. Took 2 days to dig out everything(£320 a day with digger) 1 day to get insulation to level(£260 a day) 4 days to lay(260 a day) Should be 3 but forced action mixer was delayed I did 62SQ M with UFH/limestone flags/all costs included for about £9k.

    New Intergas Boilers

as a side note, I looked at everything they offered. Ended up with a rapid plus 32, which was about £400 less than the eco RF, and then even larger to the newer models. I don't think you'll recover the extra £700 or more in savings over 10 years.

    intergas - viessmann - baxi - vaillant?

To round this thread off. Had a rapid 32 installed in the end, couldn't get an ecorf in time, ended up at £360 more than a rapid 32 with 7 year warranty, boiler is so so simple and surprisingly cheap. Nice having an engineer type not just a 'fitter' install. Early days but seem's to work very...

    intergas - viessmann - baxi - vaillant?

Agreed, it does show a level of confidence in the boiler though. If the supplier can't get one intime, i'll happily go for the rapid plus 32.

    intergas - viessmann - baxi - vaillant?

Thanks all. I'm going for an intergas eco RF. It was pointed out that the rapid 32 will be a great cheaper option, however it seems the extra £300 is worth it for the 7 extra years warranty(10 total).

    intergas - viessmann - baxi - vaillant?

Brill thanks. seems like thats just about it then. I'm not sure if hes fitted intergas before, so i'll give them a call tomorrow to confirm the warranty will still be valid.

    intergas - viessmann - baxi - vaillant?

Thanks. Currently looking at the eco rf(10 year warranty), its going in the kitchen, so use the hot water side for the kitchen and utility sinks, keep the stored hot water to feed the bathrooms. Seem like a sensible idea? Means a short run to downstairs taps but keep the higher flow and water...

    intergas - viessmann - baxi - vaillant?

Hi, already got a 2 year old oso mains pressure setup. Converting would actually cost me money as i'd need the tanks/piping etc.

Looking for a new system boiler. 5 beds 3 underfloor zones 2 radiator zones hotwater I've a proper fitted on a day rate so not tied into any boiler. What should I be looking at? Pro's and cons of each?

    Newton Lathe 805 system

He's not got a clue what he's talking about. you don't put 'salt nutraliser' onto cob. It just needs lime plaster applied. There's nowhere for vapour to go with plasterboard. I'd ask for your money back. Where are you based?

Breathable floor - limecrete or a hybrid?

Haven't got MHRV, I've got open inglenook's. I've used ecocork render on the inside.
