I thought I read this somewhere on this forum:

"Long warranties are a marketing tool to trick people.........a warranty length has nothing to do with build quality."

Now who was it that made that post...

Agreed, it does show a level of confidence in the boiler though.

If the supplier can't get one intime, i'll happily go for the rapid plus 32.

Intergas shop and Plumbcenter can get them to you next day. Make sure you get the correct flue kit needed though as it's in the front left corner on an eco rf and you might need the offset kit with a long flue extension, depending on where it's exiting.

Yep. Rolls Royce, 4 years warranty. Kia, 7 years, SsangYon & Hyundai 5 years. Make what you will of that.

To round this thread off.

Had a rapid 32 installed in the end, couldn't get an ecorf in time, ended up at £360 more than a rapid 32 with 7 year warranty, boiler is so so simple and surprisingly cheap. Nice having an engineer type not just a 'fitter' install. Early days but seem's to work very very well, amazingly quiet. Next to no plastic inside it.

Ended up with a low loss header fitted. All zones are running off individual pumps(2 radiator zones/water tank/underfloor).

Thanks to all for the advice.
