Look around the back you will see black mesh grille, is this covered in dust & fluff If so clean it off.I assume youve tried turning up the temp setting.

sounds as though youve left off a positive cable try looking behind battery remember some pos cables on fords are black.

Are you sure youve connected and turned on water supply

Overheat cut off device is behind pump,perhaps you might look it up.

Looking at boiler you will see pump(silver round part) Behind pump is black plastic button.press in.Also check you have enough water in boiler itself,as well as heating section.Try bleeding the boiler using bleed nipples located at various points. (Brass coloured) Regards J

Sounds like fuel pump relay, But you say they checked the fuel system.As its getting on a bit, wouldnt do any harm to change it, not expensive.

So what happened when they looked at it? Did they manage to start it? Or did they give up?

When recovery mechanics have checked it, did they say there was a spark or not? I assume there wasnt if they told you to renew distributor.
