Duravit Soft Close Toilet Seat - adjustable?

Hi! Wondering if anyone has any experience with Duravit soft close seats, and if they are adjustable? I have just fitted two, and they close very slowly to begin with, then gather pace and make quite a bang as they close. Wondering if they can be adjusted at the hinge somewhere...

    Loud tìcking waste

So......managed to get access under the bath. The spare inlet boss was touching an upright stud, so have trimmed that back which has helped stop the reverberating. However, where the waste inlet from the other room joins the vertical stack inbetween the studs, the pipe is expanding and...

Hi all After some advice.... We are getting fed up with our waste knocking each time we use hot water. the knoking seems to only when we run the hot water from a cold start in the ensuite. Guess the pipe is just cold and the hot water makes it move enough to make noise. I can feel the...

    Cold Rad, Not Stuck TRV!

Hi, thanks for your reply. I have pushed the "nipple" up and down and run some grease into it, so i dont think its stuck. Wonder if its a balancing issue, but it isnt the furthest rad from the boiler and there is plenty of heat at the piping around the foot of the TRV (and the rad tail).

    Cold Rad, Not Stuck TRV!

Morning All, Got a frustrating issue with a cold rad. Its had its TRV turned down over summer and most of winter as it is in the spare room. Went to turn it up today, and its not happy. It isnt the furthest from the boiler, and all others in the house are nice and toasty. Its a new combi...

    basin wastes and stud wall

Thanks! That's good - just hoping there were no regs etc saying it wasn't allowed. The other question is that I guess we will need some batton in the stud wall to take the basin weight?

Morning All, After any advice. We are putting a kitchen extension on our house, and we want some form of heating under the tiles. Its approx a 14m2 area. So, rather than using a large amount of electric underfloor heating, which will probaby amount to a couple of kw, we wondered about...
