Hi!
Looking for some advice.
We are planning our bathroom, partitioning off a stud wall in our bedroom for an Ensuite.
Ideally we would like a semi ped on one of the new walls.
hot and cold csn come under the floorboards and up the stud wall with no problem, but can someone let me know if it is possible to do the same with the waste - eg run it down vertically through the stud wall between the stud uprights, then across under the floorboards and out into the external soil stack?
Hope it's possible as not keen on a full pedestal.
Cheers!

Of course its possible, just needs careful planning including photos so's you know where not to put any sheeting nails/screws

Thanks! That's good - just hoping there were no regs etc saying it wasn't allowed.
The other question is that I guess we will need some batton in the stud wall to take the basin weight?

The battening is a definite for both the basin itself (for the Fischer bolts) and for the semi pedestal. Some are screwed to the wall and some hang on springs but they can be quite heavy. Use solvent weld fittings on the waste inside the wall.
