    cable in underlay

Hi John, thanks for replies. thing is has already been done this way about 2 years ago (it was like that when I replaced the floorboards) but now not so sure was more wondering if there is flex in the boards from walking on it what that might do to the cable thanks,

    cable in underlay

so should be in a conduit, like that thin trunking you can get at B & Q? what about flex in the boards? I assume these engineered boards dont flex enough to maybe compress the cable?

    cable in underlay

I mean the soundproofing underlay, it is slightly thicker than the electrical cable and is quite hard. The floorboards are laid on top

    cable in underlay

thoughts on running cable in the underlay under floorboards, i.e. by laying the underlay around the cable to allow space for the cable?

How much to build frame and hang internal doors?

its new stud wall that I have built (or am building) ... i did one door myself but took me better part of two days - so didn't think it was worth it ... got a quote for the other four and it is out there, so maybe it is worth it, but wanted to check (ballpark of course) what it normally costs...

How much to build frame and hang internal doors?

How much should it cost to build the frame for an internal door + hang the door? I need 4 doors done and I have all the materials. Thanks,
