Ill try this next if it doesn't work, I've set up the DNS so I can access the box and settings etc away from the local network it's come back on which has allowed me to change some settings so it matches the other cameras also gave it a new ip etc and it's showing same as all the other cameras...

I didn't think of this but checking no it's not clashing at all on the status I'm just getting offline (detecting) but then in a few hours or days it will come back on before going off when it feels like it

The only thing I see different is the IP finishes in .2 for this camera the others finish in .7 .8 & .9 There is nothing in the log or anything other that start motion detection and start record which is obviously normal. Thanks again guys!

Thanks sally, I'll give this a shot never come across it they've always worked plug and play for me. I guess you connect it to the PC via the SADP tools ? If not how? I had a play earlier with SADP tools on my own working system but strangely enough it only picked up the NVR and I couldn't...

Just an update; I've tested the cable with the cable tester to find an issue with 2&6, replaced cable and now it's saying "IP camera does not exist" so I'm going to have to sort it with SADP tools or take a look via that according to the support line at the dealer.

This happens when I plug it in the cable run; I'll have to test it with the tester if not try a reset.. thanks for a input, I really appreciate it!
