No central heating after switching on for first time

I logged on to the Kamco website and found some stockists in Berkshire so thanks very much.

No central heating after switching on for first time

Where would be the best place to get this from - plumbers merchants, I guess?

No central heating after switching on for first time

Thank you - That was our next move to buy some sludge remover. Was looking at B@Q's Sentinal (£15/litre). Is Hyperflush something similar and/or better?

No central heating after switching on for first time

We have spent almost all day draining, bleeding and refilling the system but still no joy. We initially drained the system from a low level radiator with the central heating/hot water switched on and immediately the radiators started to heat up apart from 4 - being the ones furthest away. We...

No central heating after switching on for first time

That's a very good point about running the pump occasionally during the summer, which we've never thought of doing in the past, but will certainly do so from now on. From what you suggest about investigating what's going on in the loft I guess it's not advisable to keep attempting to get the...

No central heating after switching on for first time

Thanks for your quick response. The pump is already turned up to 3! I will adjust it and move it back to make sure it isn't stuck.

No central heating after switching on for first time

Yet again we turned our central heating (Potterton Flamingo 50 boiler) on for the first time last night and it's not working. This has happened for the last 3 years and it's been a stuck pump. We checked the pump this morning and freed up the shaft which is now rotating and seems to be working...

Update: Servis M6135 - Does it need resetting?

Update: We have admitted defeat with this and bought a new machine.

Update: Servis M6135 - Does it need resetting?

Further to my previous post it now appears that the pressure switch is working fine so our problem is still unresolved. No matter what cycle is selected machine just goes through a repetitive cycle of the drum turning back and forth and click sounds. I put the machine on a "quick wash" last...

Servis washing machine pressure switch - Where to buy?

Can anyone suggest where we can buy a replacement switch please? We have tested ours and it has no continuity across any of the three connectors so assume it is therefore faulty and is the cause of no water coming into the machine. Model No M6135 Serial No 20020624901 010077154 0101...

SERVIS M6135 WASHER NOT TAKING IN WATER

We think we have a faulty pressure switch as there is no continuity across any of the three connectors. Can anyone suggest where we can get a replacement?

SERVIS M6135 WASHER NOT TAKING IN WATER

Thank you - Machine definitely thinks there is water in it, but strangely it won't take in either hot or cold water. Even when selecting a 90 degree wash, no hot water coming in. Do both valves need to be working? Or could both valves be faulty - Is there an easy test? Thanks.

SERVIS M6135 WASHER NOT TAKING IN WATER

Thanks for the tip. We have taken the drain hose off which is completely clear and each side of pump and filter is also clear. There is no water in the machine but it won't take in any water at all, whether starting a rinse cycle or on a normal wash cycle - The drum just rotates back and...

SERVIS M6135 WASHER NOT TAKING IN WATER

Can anyone please shed any light on a problem we have had for the last month or so with our Servis M6135 washing machine? At the end of a normal wash cycle, clothes are still very wet but I had been getting by then doing a “pump/spin” with a half load which seemed to work most of the time...

Seat Ibiza - Horn not working!

I have a 1998(R) Seat Ibiza SXE and the horn has stopped working. I have removed the two covers on the steering wheel to check the connections. The connections on the left-hand side look fine and intact but one of the two wired connections under the right-hand cover has broken off. But the...
