Further to my previous post it now appears that the pressure switch is working fine so our problem is still unresolved. No matter what cycle is selected machine just goes through a repetitive cycle of the drum turning back and forth and click sounds. I put the machine on a "quick wash" last night and manually put water and detergent into the dispenser but it was still doing this same repetitive movement an hour later plus quite a bit of water leaked out underneath but that could have been caused by me putting too much in too quickly. It's as if the machine is stuck and needs to be reset.

I removed the mains plug overnight and have just attempted a spin only, but the same thing is happening.

A faulty cold water inlet valve was originally diagnosed as no water was entering the machine but would a faulty valve cause the above and prevent a spin cycle from working?

Is there a way of resetting the machine and, if so, would this work? If not I think it's time to get a professional in as husband and I have pretty limited knowlege and experience! Thank you.
